After our pilot of weekly events in August of 2023, we have determined that they are indeed a worthwhile endeavor and that we need to make a more official process for their creation. Most of the events designed at that time were done in rapid fashion and intended solely for one-off use. As we want to make sure that the experience is seamless for players, we have begun the process of designing and testing events that are reusable with different pools of mobs and more properly challenging for players to overcome.

A lot of work has gone in on the backend to make this system possible. SuperKael has been hard at work recoding our instancing system to make use of the setup that Smoke has made for internal infrastructure, allowing us to prepare these events and have them ready to go at the click of a button. Rather than worrying about stressing out the main survival server with crazy Blood Moons and hordes of mobs, we can now run events on a separate server and as such we are able to do so much more!

We look forward to providing you all with the experience that you deserve here on FreedomCraft, and we hope you have the skill and desire to claim the unique rewards that will be available during these events in the future as we begin setting them up and rolling them out! We are looking to share more of the lore, showcase new features, and coincide events with updates to the server in general.
